I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree and more than 14 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, and families in academic and therapeutic environments.

Throughout my career, I have provided counseling and guidance for individuals and their families coping with anxiety, mood, and behavioral disorders as well as teaching life skills to help them adjust to dramatic changes to the family dynamic (e.g., loss, foster care, adoption, divorce, military life).

In addition, I have a comprehensive knowledge of empowerment theory and extensive experience with helping young children, adolescents, and adults adopt healthy lifestyle changes and believe in themselves.

My Philosophy

My greatest passion is empowering my clients to discover that they have the power within themselves to create a balanced, successful, and fulfilling life. I adapt my therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs of each client, and my treatment modalities may include combinations of cognitive, behavioral, art, and narrative therapy as well as the application of empowerment theory to effect positive life changes.

My goal is to guide and motivate you throughout your personal journey of self-discovery and transformation. During our discussions, I’ll help you to identify, understand, and process the feelings you have about yourself as well as the world around you. Throughout your transformative journey, I'll teach you effective life skills that will help you to set your own goals, view yourself and your environment in a brand-new way, and achieve your full potential.
